I have been painting for nearly 40 years and the majority of my work is either painted on site or worked up from sketches.I am a great believer in developing sound drawing skills as it is the basis for any painting activity. My work is a loose realistic with a wide range of subject matter.

I am an exhibiting member at Farnham Art Society as well as Guildford .During 2010 I was elected to become a member of Chelsea Art Society. I am also a member of The Wapping Group of Artists who are a small group of no more than 25 who meet weekly during the summer to paint at various locations along the Thames and in London. They hold an annual exhibition at The Mall Galleries each year.

2010 was a very successful year for me with

1st Prize for a Watercolour painting at Chelsea Art Society.
Highly Commended at Farnham Art Society.
Exhibited at The Royal Society of Marine Artists at The Mall Galleries.
Exhibited at Bankside Gallery,London in a new exhibition " Guardian,London Lives "
Work regularly exhibited at Lincoln Joyce at Great Bookham.

2011 was another good year for me

I was fortunate to have a number of paintings selected for major exhibitions in 2011.
Two paintings were selected for The Royal Society of Marine Artists RSMA
One painting was selected for Royal Institute of Oil Painters ROI, both at The  Mall Galleries.I also had a painting selected for London Lives exhibition at The Bankside Gallery.
In November I was awarded  The Aquarius Open Award for my painting Oh to be Young Again at Guildford Art Societies Annual Exhibition

2013. I was successful in having a painting selected in The Royal Institute for Painters in Watercolour ( RI ) and also one in The Pastel Society.
